We are a 501(c)3 Florida tax-extempt non-profit organization. Our goal is to help people living with disabilities, encourage them to come out of their homes and into the community. We do this by enriching, educating, and empowering the individuals with various activities, such as seminars, outings, and volunteering. To find out more about our program offerings, you can read more about it here.
We have many inspiring stories of how YES! has helped people to come out of their homes and start becoming valuable members of the community at large, you can read their stories in this page.
YES! was started in 2002, when it evolved out of a blind support group started in 1998. Our founder, Becki, realized she wanted a more inclusive approach; one that includes people with all kinds of disabilities, and not concentrating on just one specific group. To learn more about YES! history, you can go here.
We have a board, and we meet on a regular basis to assure the organization is achieving its goals. To find out who is on the board, you can visit here.
None of this could be accomplished without the help of others in the community, and we want to recognize some of them here. We are very grateful that we have such wonderful people helping us achieve the dreams we all have at YES!
